METHOIL is derived from fatty acids extracted from soybean oil. Methylated oils are low viscosity fluids which have low volatility and good solvent properties. These characteristics enable these oils to coat leaf surfaces, soften and penetrate the waxy leaf cuticles. Thus, pesticide activity is enhanced when used with products calling for an oil-based adjuvant.
